Our friend Joon Maeng is the subject of a new film set to be unveiled to a Korean audience in the coming months has been kind enough to shoot us over a clip from the upcoming movie.

The video is from one of Ken Blocks Gymkhana Grid events. If you haven't seen Gymkhana hit up youtube and search for Ken Block Gymkhana. It is an amazing video that shows not only the skills of the driver, but the ability of a race team to turn a vehicle that you can pick up at your local dealer into an amazing power horse.

In this clip you'll see a few of the drivers from Formula Drift, Ken Block, and of course Joon Maeng driving his Silvia.

Joon will soon be running a fully built engine by Speed O Motive that will be assembled by LS Automotive and a GT35r Garrett turbo provided by Bergenholtz Racing on LS Auto Nitto Tires S13.5. Once all the modifications and upgrades are made, Kevin Wells at LS Auto is aiming to tune around 450 HP at the Apexi facility.

Joon's goal and vision is to improve as a driver overall weather it be in drift or grip racing. He will be attending many local track days, NASA, GymkhanaGrid.com on Dec 3-4th @ Irwindale Speeday and a few road racing events. Next year, Joon will be running a full program on the LS Automotive Nitto Tire S13.5 for Gymkhana Grid/Grip Racing/Road Racing/Time Attack.
