Guinness World Record for Fastest Production Car goes to an American Super Car?
Written by Jose Perez
No the title was not a typo, the Guinness World Records have crowned an american super car as the Fastest Production Car on the Planet! and its not a Ford, or a GM not even a Tesla. its a Company Called Shelby Super Cars and no not related to Caroll Shelby but same last names. The Shelby Super Cars or the SSC is a new American auto maker that has gone and done magic. When i say magic i mean that they have build an entire Super Car from the ground up only using in-house designed parts and in-land suppliers to build their beastly automotive super car.
I havent been this excited about a car in a very long time, why? because america has not been in the headlines of Automotice Inovation as of late (Besides the Tesla Roadster) and its a drag to write about all these outside companies that build these $1 million dollar plus cars that do 250+ MPH and transform into robots (wait those are transformers), all jokes aside, with Tesla and its all electric Roadster the SSC is like adding frosting to the cake. Well enough about how excited i am i will leave you the car specs, photos and even a video of Jay Leno taking it out for a spin. ENJOY!
P.S: The cost is not more than 700k, unlike some Super Cars.
