 Autofiend has a report on it's site that actor Matt Damon was caught pulling into a trendy coffee shop in LA. It looks like the guys at Autofiend just happened to be at the right place at the right time, and got some great shots of the Blue prototype, as well as the driver Matt Damon.
Excerpt from Autofiend: “So are you gonna get one?” I ask. Matt gives me that sheepish look that we all get when we’re explaining to a significant other why we just can’t live without that red convertible/new sport-bike/track car…”Yeah. I think so.”
Matt had nothing but good things to say about the Roadster, which is the common theme with the car. Everyone that has taken it for a spin has been impressed with the ride, the overall torque, and of course the speed. On top of that, it admittedly is one sexy little beast! You can also visit Jay Leno's garage online, and watch a video that Jay made of his test drive of the roadster. He has also given the Roadster extremely high marks for performance, functionality, and of course the "Cool factor."           |
What he didn't mention was; to test drive the Roadster you've put the $125,000 (roughly) down on a Roadster, or you are a major player in the Automotive Media. We have confirmation that Matt Damon has indeed placed an order for his very own Tesla Roadster. He is patiently awaiting the arrival of his Roadster. This puts him in with other well known celebs that have dropped $100,000 on the Roadster. Jay Leno, and Arnold Schwarzenegger to name a few.
