Movie Review: Death Race

We recently had the opportunity to see Death Race. The film is 89 minutes long, which I might add, just FLY'S by! The film seemed extremely short, but it was action packed!

If you are a car guy/girl, you might just enjoy this one. The "hero" car is a Roush Mustang. The second hero car is a dodge ram pickup. The others are a myriad of who knows what. There is what looks to be a 350Z in the mix as well.

While the movie does feel at times like it lacks direction, it is really fun to watch. If you let yourself go, and are looking for a film that is just just action/gore/violence than this is the film for you. If not, then I'd recommend renting it, or skipping it entirely.

I personally enjoyed the film, even though it jumps around, and isn't that easy to follow 100% of the time. If you have small children, I wouldn't recommend taking them to this film, it is fairly violent.

Overall I would rate this film a Solid 3.5 out of 5.
